Join us Valentine’s Day weekend at Lee Farms in Tualatin Oregon as couples, families, and friends escape the cliche and get down and dirty at the My Muddy Valentine 5k mud / obstacle run. Runner’s come dressed head to toe in hearts, tutu’s, and even a few group costumes ready to take on the muddy terrain. The sun is shining, the mud is fresh and racers are ready to challenge their friends and loved ones to an all-out mudfest. My Muddy Valentine is a great course to run your first obstacle race or mud run. The course is rather flat and the obstacles are pretty easy to conquer. If you’re looking for a more competitive edge, My Muddy Valentine has two Elite waves to start the morning and brings out many elite OCR runners. Don’t miss out on all the fun. Participation is capped at 1500.

Eric Sumner and Sheila Eldred of Minneapolis captured the men’s and women’s 6-kilometer Mud run at Camp Lake Placid in Pillager Saturday.
The third-annual event saw 231 participants in the 6K and the children’s half mile races.
The Pillager Fire Department was on hand to hose down the “mudders” after they ran the course and crawled through the mud pits. The costume award went to Heidi Hahn’s “The Dirty Dozen” and the family costume award went to the Axbergs. Proceeds from the event went to the Lakes Area Disability Ministry.
